Projects

SHIFT supports the advancement of clean, heavy-duty transportation technologies by funding demonstration and pilot projects across California. The program helps bridge the gap between early innovation and broader market adoption – providing real-world validation, generating critical performance data, and informing decisions by manufacturers, fleets, and agencies. By accelerating the path to commercialization, SHIFT helps ensure zero-emission technologies are ready to meet the state’s long-term climate and air quality goals.
