Get your boots dirty and become a Citizen Scientist for a day! Join our local conservation team at the nearest stream or wetland. You will be actively taught how to test for water quality indicators, identify bio-indicator species (macroinvertebrates), and map non-point source pollution.
The data collected will be immediately compiled, and the session will conclude with a “Next Steps for Our Water” planning meeting to propose a specific, local action (like a planting project) based on your findings.
Check with your community for your local participating stream or wetland.
