Aviation Workforce Listening Session

The Foundation for California Community Colleges (FoundationCCC), on behalf of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the California Energy Commission (CEC), is hosting a listening session for the SHIFT Aviation Demonstration Project. This initiative is piloting zero-emission, autonomous aircraft for agricultural applications, with a focus on supporting disadvantaged and rural communities across California. The session will gather input on workforce development opportunities, challenges, and priority needs related to clean transportation technologies, including electric aviation and drone operations. FoundationCCC will facilitate the discussion to help inform California’s evolving workforce needs in these emerging sectors.
